All about our Glow Tape

We offer a flexible polyester laminated photoluminescent film coated with a permanent acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive and backed with a 5 mil poly coated paper release liner. The photoluminescent pigments absorb and store energy from normal, ambient light. In sudden darkness, the tape is immediately visible. These tapes are a non-electric safety system the easily and inexpensively affixes to walls, handrails, columns, around door-frames, and along stairways and baseboards. Tape will glow in total darkness after exposure to artificial or natural light - it is fully charged within 30 minutes. Glows brightest the first 30 minutes after activation has ceased, but will remain clearly visible in a totally dark room to the night-adapted eye for 6+ hrs for the Safety Grade, 10+ hrs for the High Energy, and 24+ hrs for the Ultra Premium.

These tapes are offset, screen, flexo, and thermo transfer printable. They can also be die-cut and kiss cut using steel rule dies.

These products are safe to be used indoors and outdoors. These glow products are available in varied colors. They differ in their glowing capacity hours. The glowing products glowing time is between 6 to 24 hours depending on the quality of composition of the solutions.

Chemical Action!

Glow products glow as a result of the combination of two solutions. These two solutions give out energy in the form of light when they are bent. The emitted light is bright for a considerably long time, but only when the concentration is high and of a good quality.

Applications:

Used for identification of critical equipment controls, light switch covers, exit and directional signage - especially for escape routes and stairways.
